Unsere Patenkinder: Schüler der SECPADS-School.
In the year 2000 the SECPADS SCHOOL was established by the Reinhard and Marianne Athenstaedt Foundation, the financial sponsor until today. It is a private school with a hostel in the near of Karsha, a small village in the Indian Himalayan region Zanskar (federal state Jammu & Kashmir).
The main aim is to provide equal education opportunity facilities to all children through modern educational practices. The school helps the students to appreciate their own culture and its values.
Therefore the students study three languages: Bothi (the local language), English and Hindi.
